Incorporated in December of 1986 as Lake Placid Sports Inc., Bill Kemmerer Jr. and a partner formed a snowmobile tour business known today as Lake Placid Snowmobiling Inc. Operating for the last 15 years from a main street location and fielding our snowmobiles on the privately owned 500 acre Tucker family farm, Bill maintains current model snowmobiles and carries the notoriety of his famous 12 mile tour through the christmas tree farms and the pine forests. Our customers are transported in the luxury of one of our two current model vans to and from our snowmobile site. In the winter of 2001, Lake Placid Snowmobiling Inc., was selected as the # 1 all around snowmobile operation in the east.

Bills guides consist mostly of Paul Smith's College students working their way through school and are required to maintain their grade averages to work. Bill can accommodate corporate groups, private clubs, work around hockey game schedules and specializes in just plain "FAMILY FUN", catering to moms and dads with their children. Bill will make every effort to accommodate person's with special needs.

Bills motto is Safety First and his logo is, "FAMILY FUN " Our tour schedule begins on december 26, and ends on march 31. Our hours of operation are daily, 7 day's a week beginning at 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm.
